Advocate for ELSA

In the US, children born with cleft and other congenital conditions are often denied essential care like orthodontics and speech therapy, even when medically necessary. The Ensuring Lasting Smiles Act (H.R. 3277/S.1677) would close this coverage gap by requiring private insurers to cover all necessary treatments — so doctors, not insurers, decide what care kids need to grow, speak, and thrive.
