Smile Train Welcomes Tim Alavathil to the Board of Directors

Quickplay Media CFO and Smile Train Canada Foundation Board Member Expands Leadership Role to Support the Organization’s Global Vision

New York, NY – March 13, 2025 – Smile Train, the world’s largest cleft-focused organization, announces Tim Alavathil, Chief Financial Officer of Quickplay Media, as their newest member on the Board of Directors. Alavathil brings extensive financial leadership experience in the digital and streaming industries, along with a strong commitment to Smile Train’s work, having already served on the Board of Smile Train Canada Foundation. He will now serve on both Smile Train Boards.

Prior to his current role, Alavathil served as CFO of Endeavor Streaming, a large multinational streaming company, and before that he was CFO of NeuLion, Inc. Alavathil is a licensed Chartered Professional Accountant in Canada and earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.
