Smile Train Expands Education and Training Opportunity for Global Medical Partners
Organization sponsors medical professionals attending the 81st American Cleft and Craniofacial Association’s Annual Meeting
Denver, Colorado (March 28, 2024) – Smile Train, the world’s largest cleft-focused organization is sponsoring a dozen global medical partners attending The American Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association’s (ACPA) annual meeting. The sponsorship covers cleft care providers from 10 countries including Brazil, India and Nigeria.
“As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we are pleased to build on our longstanding partnership with ACPA,” said Shannon M. Lambert, Vice President of Program Development, Smile Train. “Our values are aligned as we work collectively to elevate comprehensive cleft care while educating, connecting and inspiring medical professionals in the cleft and craniofacial space.”
The program will feature general multidisciplinary sessions, concurrent specialty sessions, panel presentations and courses. Program topics include cleft lip and palate surgery, craniofacial biology and anatomy, craniofacial surgery, dentistry, orthodontics, feeding and nutrition, genetics, neuroscience, nursing, speech-language pathology, audiology, pediatrics, quality of life and psychosocial issues, team care, quality improvement and more.

ACPA’s 2024 annual meeting will take place April 9-13 in Denver, Colorado. The event is being held at the Sheraton Denver Downtown.
