GreatNonprofits is the leading platform for community-sourced reviews about nonprofits. These stories are submitted by people who know the organization the best. Smile Train is currently listed as a 2019 Top-Rated Nonprofit with 4.5 stars out of 5.
Since Smile Train’s business model relies heavily on donated services, the values of these services are not included on the IRS Form 990. As a result, to date Charity Navigator, a resource dedicated to evaluating charities, has been unable to rate Smile Train using their current methodology. A lack of a rating does not indicate a positive or negative assessment by Charity Navigator.
