Direct-to-consumer clear aligner company Candid partnered with Smile Train in 2018 when it committed to donating a portion of sales to help support cleft treatments for 1,000+ children globally. Candid has used its considerable reach to help raise awareness about clefts and is providing expert support in orthodontics for the children served by our programs.
This June, Candid joined Smile Train supporters around the world and held a “Yoga for Smiles” event at its Atlanta, Georgia-based office.
On the day of the event, the studio filled to capacity with Candid employees and Atlanta-based Smile Train supporters. Special guests and event co-hosts Miss Georgia USA 2019 Katerina Rozmajzl and Miss Georgia Teen USA 2019 Isabella Bloedorn got things started when they spoke with the gathered crowd.
Then the main event – Core Power instructor Ayanna Simone led the group in a world-class yoga session.
Brianne Gallo, Manager, Corporate Partnerships, Smile Train, said, “‘Yoga for Smiles events are a great way to get local communities involved with Smile Train. Thanks to Candid and the Miss Universe Organization, we were able to raise both funds and awareness surrounding children with clefts globally, all while participating in a fun wellness event.”
