Sunday, May 5th marks the Eighth Annual Sadie’s Race in Purcellville, VA. The race was created in memory of Sadie Ablard, who passed away at the age of five. In Sadie’s honor, her mother, Sara Parella, began raising money for Smile Train through the Sadie’s Smile Foundation. Sara is over halfway to her goal of raising one ‘smile surgery’ for each day Sadie was alive. To date, the foundation has raised more than $294,000.
We would like to invite you to participate in this year’s Sadie's Race5k run/walk and Kids Fun Run on May 5. All proceeds from the day will go to Smile Train.
Registration is open on Active.com , so bring a team to show your support for this wonderful cause and enjoy a fun morning with your community. Family activities include face painting, balloon animals, a petting zoo, and martial arts.
