You'll meet Smile Train’s local medical partners, staff, patients, and families, seeing firsthand how you are transforming health systems and helping children access the care they need to thrive and build brighter futures.

- Registration: $2,200 per traveler

This is an exclusive opportunity with limited spots, so we encourage you to register early. Spots will be filled in the order registrations are received, with preference given to first-time attendees.
Registration includes transportation, lodging, meals, and tourist activities. International airfare to and from Medellín, Colombia, is not included.

During your Journey of Smiles, you’ll visit Fundación Clínica Noel in Medellín, meet their dedicated medical team, and witness firsthand how comprehensive cleft care is transforming lives across Colombia.
A Smile Train partner since 2012, Clínica Noel is a leading center for comprehensive cleft care and medical training in Latin America. The coordinated care they provide includes surgery, speech therapy, nutrition, psychological counseling, orthodontics, and other ongoing support, all tailored to each individual’s needs. Beyond treating patients, the clinic also helps develop clinical protocols, pilot new initiatives, and train multidisciplinary care teams from every corner of the region.
Itinerary
- Saturday, April 17: Arrive in Medellín at José María Córdova International Airport (MDE). Transfer to El Poblado, Medellín, Antioquia, and check into the Viaggio Medellín Grand Hotel. Enjoy a group welcome dinner.
- Sunday, April 18: Visit El Castillo Museum for fun activities with Smile Train patients and families. After lunch, visit the homes of two patients to meet their families and hear their stories.
- Monday, April 19: Tour Fundación Clínica Noel, visit their comprehensive cleft care programs, and meet with patients and medical professionals. Then join us for a tourist activity in the city and close the day with a farewell dinner.
