The New York launch of the Smile Train / Vertu partnership was held at an exclusive gallery inside Sotheby’s, the world renowned auction house located in the prestigious Upper East Side neighbourhood in New York City. The exhibition of Mary McCartney’s commissioned photography for Constellation Smile was displayed in a contemporary way creating a striking insight into the lives of Smile Train surgery recipients, and how their lives have been changed in a positive way.

The launch event had an upbeat, positive feel yet remained poignant to reflect the mission of Smile Train. VIPs, donors and staff mingled with media and viewed the photography and product showcase. Casey Armstrong, Managing Director - VERTU AMERICAS, addressed the guests and explained the project. Our own Patricia Ma later spoke about the tangibility of the partnership — where one phone sold equates to one child helped.

A limited edition coffee table book produced by Mary McCartney was also available for a donation of $250.
